Kingston Technology Launches Overclocking Qualification
DDR5 modules on the next generation memory platform
Fountain Valley, CA (USA) – May 6, 2021 –
American company Kingston Technology Company, Inc. announced today that it has shipped overclocked DDR5 memory modules to motherboard manufacturing partners to begin qualification on the next generation memory platform.
Kingston-designed DDR5 modules come with a pre-installed XMP profile. At the same time, the development company provided its motherboard partners with the ability to independently configure the integrated power management scheme (PMIC), going beyond the 1.1V DDR5 specification, which gives the system maximum flexibility during overclocking.
